For example, datsik's tune havoc, there are some harsh dog bark like sounds. This kinda sysnthesis ain't just a walk in the park. Big up to those two for the skill behind the synthesis. Also, if any of the people on here going ah all of datsik's tunes sound the same had bothered to follow his myspace or take a look every now and then they woulda heard that his sound is changing and evolving. However, if he were to abandon it altogether his new stuff just wouldn't be Datsik now would it? if you know what I mean, it's his signature, and all producers tend to have one, it's what sets them apart from others in their genre.
Also, Datsik released that chilled out EP recently, still had hints of datsik but was a complete re-take on what we all expect when we hear the name Datsik. Finally, I'm not running to the defense of him or sucking up, it's just a bit disheartening seeing such a split in the Dubstep community, and not only that, the one-mindedness of so many people, for example "I only listen to Jungle Drum n Bass." and then you play the person a Drumstep track and they're too proud to admit they like it even though you catch them downloading it later!
Dubstep is a vast genre, there's bound to be a lot of strife but don't go and hate on a producer just cause they don't make stuff that falls into your category of favourite stuff, take a listen to it, if it's not for you then that's all cool, but then at least give props to the skill that producer has at creating that sound and the synth work for example.
So all in all, the fact that Datsik replied was cool, and the fact that he did so in such a cool way was good, shows that he pays attention to his fans and critics.
Remember criticism is always welcome but don't go hate on someone, you might end up destroying their love of a genre because of a negative stigma you've attached to it in their eyes.
This is actually the first time anyone has asked this. :D
What in the name of hell did he even ask?

All i see is a rant, no questions involved.
The first sentence.
Yeah but I could have sworn I rpelied something about chorus distortion and formant filters and that the real talent is in thier layering simple patches with creatively used robot samples n white noise n glitches n shit...

Never really heard much excision, was expecting 16bit style chainsaw noises, downloaded a mix from the mix section here, was quite impressed, nice sounds.

Going to have to have a go at something like that i think :)

Keep rocking these patches, since alot of people (including me) still really enjoy them :)

EDIT: What do "regular" people think of you when they listen to your music? For example, your mom? This sounds kind of weird, but I always get weird looks by my non-dubstep friends, and family ;)
same in my first class in college we did those shitty name games and i wrote i love dubstep and the teacher was like "theres always one" felt kinda put down tbh
