how do you know self perception is occurring?

Your doing it again, that human need to believe everything has a creator, cause, answer etc

my answer to your question would be no one is doing the action of self perception.

this is my first option too and i blame the ego (that comes with self perception ahhaha) for being unable to accept we're a miserable and rather unsurprising accident

but if you change your mind about this one thing, from there i think you see already where i was going, otherwise you wouldn't go to such extents just to avoid the conclusion the self exists

I'm not avoiding it I'm just looking at other possibilities. You seem to be very set on one idea and too scared to even think about others. Since everything you say is dissmissive of other views etc and with every answer you try to twist it so that it looks like people just don't understand or try to avoid 'the truth' (your opinion).

man, i'm definitely based on the assumption something exists, and from there all the logical consequences
if i wasn't i wouldn't bother with anything, but for sure i had amazingly intense developments and feelings and those are deffo more than nothing
