was loling about the same thing, these kids think that the style has progressed to this, when the style has been around for ages doing the same thing, if anything these kids have solidified around one specific style of dubstep and stagnated with each other trying to out filth each other... they killed jungle that way and now they're doing it to dubstep, soon they'll move on and try to put the simple drums and wobbles over whatever else is "new and exciting" to them, allow it. the mere fact that stuff like this is #1 at chemical is proof of the stupidity of the masses.brasco wrote:its how one aspect of the scene is progressing.AJP UK wrote:It's the way dubstep is progressing.
Artists like Funtcase and Bare Noize, Borgore who I think you're relating to with your thread starter have produced some really complex, filthy stuff - of course it's nothing like early dubstep - but it's music which you can really feel. I get fucking psyched when I listen to a tune from these boys... times have moved on... It's good for the genre to be honest.
also whats with all this 'times have moved on' in this thread, like all there is now is this midrange. are you saying that mala's ep is already too late, heny g's album will sound too old?

im not gonna rant back, feel its stupid, you do what you do i do what i do...but youve definetely aimed this at me as im currently number 1 in chemical, which to me sounds like its keeping the scene healthy
in this regard i wish the youtube crew would embrace donk. its like a match made in heavenfractal wrote:if anything these kids have solidified around one specific style of dubstep and stagnated with each other trying to out filth each other... they killed jungle that way and now they're doing it to dubstep, soon they'll move on and try to put the simple drums and wobbles over whatever else is "new and exciting" to them, allow it.brasco wrote:its how one aspect of the scene is progressing.AJP UK wrote:It's the way dubstep is progressing.

i think jump up would be better if they simply put a donk on it.brasco wrote:in this regard i wish the youtube crew would embrace donk. its like a match made in heavenfractal wrote:if anything these kids have solidified around one specific style of dubstep and stagnated with each other trying to out filth each other... they killed jungle that way and now they're doing it to dubstep, soon they'll move on and try to put the simple drums and wobbles over whatever else is "new and exciting" to them, allow it.brasco wrote:its how one aspect of the scene is progressing.AJP UK wrote:It's the way dubstep is progressing.

No, this style of music is more like clownstep at 140, because no matter the wobbels or the melodies, the drum pattern is always the same and the drops are pretty similiar too... Just my opinion. Lol

I fucking hate "filth" but i just ignore it, which is pretty hard sometimes as there is so much of it, but it's better than complaining about it, cos complaining about it isn't going to change a thing!
Yeah, but try to get the thousands (maybe more) of youtube kids who've taken up filth to change their ways.
