You know Basic A, apart from you and you're circlejerking producer buddies nobody gives a shit if you made your kickdrums or whatever the fuck it may be by farting into a mic or ripping it from an old vinyl. This is where we obviously have a different opinion. The end product matters, you can burp the whole song into your mic, if it is MELODISH (melodic, now fucking get over it, I'm no native speaker, but the fact you keep riding this horse means you're a fuck anyway) and it is appealing, people are happy. Your tune on the other hand... not so much.

My reasoning regarding your stupid-ass song battle: Why the fuck do I have to be able to do better in order to say something sucks? I can't really cook but I still complain when I get a shitty meal. I can't really sing but I can tell if those fucks on * Idol can't seing either. And I'm saying Basic A's song is about as appealing as a lead enema. So either you can grasp the concept, or not.

If Mt Eden really used a pre-mixed CD well then actually fuck him. Just as this DnB dude Mistabishi, this is pathetic and I don't support shit like that. Still, I like the tunes. Why is that so fucking hard to understand?

The fact is, you don't have to be better to say something sucks but it would either confirm or denounce the assumption that you have a shit taste in music and don't know how to write good tracks either.

Also, it's hard to understand that you like him because his production techniques are poor, and as a result it says something about you when you regard his tunes to be good regardless of the knowledge that his tracks are badly produced, heavily sampled and just stupidly poor in general.

Without meaning to jump into the fray too much, I don't mind a bit of Mt. Eden in moderation every now and again and I'm definitely not 14. I think what got up most people's ass was that he did a terrible remix of a Burial track, which wasn't the best idea but it's hardly taking a dump in the House of the Holy now is it.

It did suck, though.

He fucking sucks but that's my opinion but we've all been in that part of production and someone told us what we were doing wrong and we learned from it that's how we get better. im just thinking that no one has shown eden the right way of doing things or he must really like his own beats to warrant staying on this path. all in all Legendary was the one with the smartest post. im a bit disappointed this got so out of hand.

Mate quit talking in circles about my music. Your bitching about my drums in a melody based tune and then bitching about it not having a melody when Im a minimalistand thats all it DOES have. Ive never heard a MELODY in mt eden, ive heard some SAMPLES, DRUMS, and BASSLINES. not melodies. I tihnk a good solid trip to your nearest dictionary is in order man. And like I said, Im assuming you havent actually listened to any of my tunes, or youd know Im a melodic, minimalist producer. Mt. Eden makes BASSLINE ORIENTED TUNES. you have fuck shit a clue shat a medlody is man, and that obvious by the fact you missed a full volin composition in a tune (I highly doubt) you listened too.
