just like what happened to rave, drum n bass and garage :t:
How has this happened to DNB? Granted there are a handful of artists Danny Byrd, Pendulum etc who are appealing to the masses however there are an indefinate amout of people pushing DNB to its own scene.

Just because something has chart success doesnt mean its killing the scene.
I say fair play to any artist whos tune is so successful its included in a top 40 of all tracks in the country.

The only thing that is forcing the dubstep scene to become what it has/is, is the vigour with which people on this forum protest at the idea of ANY mainstream success. If you just let it be, the dubstep scene would be fine! There's no need to jump on every post chatting all this s*** about how much you hate Doctor P, Funtcase, Mt Eden etc etc etccccccc. And before you accuse me of liking jump up, wobbly shit, I DON'T, I'm just prepared to deal with the fact that it's not going anywhere and the more you effing moan about it the more attention it gets. Instead of moaning about rubbish dubstep, get yourself out of the tunnel vision of "dubstep" and go find some amazing tunes regardless of genre, not spending all your time finding shit ones in one genre. Peace

Its funny how opinion gets confused with gospel.
Just because you dont like a tune doesnt make it a bad tune
Just because you dont like a producer doesnt make them a bad producer

Focus on the stuff you do like and enjoy it rather than flaming tracks you dont like.

This won't effect the scene that much but the fact that Rusko is making beats for Britney is a joke.

I say big up Rusko

As a music producer he is winning

We may not play his latest tunes, however this doesnt make him un-talented.
It just means our tastes are different.

To be fair, Cockney Thug is one of the tunes that first got me listening to dubstep, and I know a lot of people who it's the same for.
Can't really hate on the guy, hes made some quality stuff.
