if you're not going to call it a subgenre then call it a cross-genre because it is just a mix of drum and bass and dubstep.
same thing in my opinion. anyways, as i did mention in my post it is VERY difficult to put songs in to such finite catagories.
i was only trying to make a point anyway, i know myself that i dont know too much about music, but thats no reason for somebody who, in my opinion spends way too much time on the forums to nit pick, and to be more presice to nit pick on something that has nothing wrong with it, and i will stand by that point untill somebody proves me wrong.

fine then, call it half step drum and bass, because if you think about it its still spilliting a genre down into something more specific, so techinically its still a sub genre.

Im sorry if i've got the wrong end of the stick here, but if you just dont like the fact that some people call it drumstep instead of half step drum and bass then you just got to deal with it. same shit different name, still doesnt change the fact that it is technically a subgenre, well in my opinion it is anyway.
