Men being responsible for moral guidance has led to nothing but atrocities such as human and animal sacrifice, witch-hunts and witch-burning, "Holy" war, and the inherent evil of nature. Nothing good has come of it, and nothing ever will.

No I'm not a girl, but making morality subject to the power of state, with God-kings and shit, is the #1 reason imo humanity is so fucked up. And we ended up doing it because males ended up forcefully seizing religious and moral authority from women, in a quest for "magical power". May not have been forceful at first, but in the end Judeo-Christianity with its refusal to allow women a place in religion, and all its derivatives saw to that. Witch-burning and Witch-hunts were soon the order of the day.

Which is why Parson filling his mind with crap in his quest for magical power, with its obviously detrimental consequences (belief that he is a telepath), is reminiscent of the path humanity has gone down in the past.
