You won't find Ableton in any high end studio. Logic or Cubase most the time.
Sack you cracked stuff, purchase a top end DAW and learn how to make music on a next scale.

The reason you wont find Ableton in a multi million pound studio is because thats not what it was made for..
We all have different studio environments. I'm speak from my end. Others will vary.

I think you will find the brotools in the major studios not logic or cubase. Really though the bigs probably have one of each on the computer. But big studios don't make underground bass music, mine does though and that is where you will find the best of the best... Ableton!

Ever noticed how Reaper users just refer to the king of DAWs as Reaper?
None of this version number bullshit.
My point is this,
Reaper users get almost weekly feature upgrades, reflecting the user feature requests made in Reapers FR forum. Not only that, but these upgrades are free, even to unregistered users!
Users of other programs have to wait years for one version update, and even then it lacks the features and bug fixes the users have been crying out for!
Go figure.

Synthtopia readers willing to participate in a poll != the world
Still though Reaper beat out Reason and Bro Tools. Suck ittt
Reaper is exclusive though, only the kool kids know about it. It's like Fight club but with more semi nude wrestling.

Reaper is exclusive though, only the poor kids know about it. It's like Fight club the way you beat yourself up for using it.

Yup

If you ever need to use Reaper with a multiple out VSTi again, there is an easy method for setting it up.
1> Create a track and then create your VSTi on it. In the VSTi, select the default number of outputs.
2> Delete the track and VSTi.
3> Right click on the area where tracks normally sit (the blank space to the left of the sequencer). Select 'Insert Virtual Instrument on New Track'.
4> Select your VSTi from the 'FX' window that displays itself. Reaper should now ask you whether you want it to automatically create multiple tracks and do the routing for you.
5> Click 'Yes'.
You should be sweet to make tunes now
Mid thread, just had to say that this is a convoluted piece of shit hack way of doing something in in fl that takes one click. Embarrassing. Why daws totally chomp the bit at multi out vsts... I don't know.

I remember back when I tried out Ableton Live. Version 6, I think.
In short: without drumracks and the sequencer update, it would be a nice live/dj thing, but that's about it.
I was so glad to get back to FPC and FL's piano roll that day.
