ps3 is just miles better. it does a lot, and it outsells xbox globally, as does the Wii

It's very simple, if you use wireless you are not a real online gamer.

The fastest wireless router can not come close to wired sustained bandwidth and speed. This causes lag. At the level real gamers play at, a few 100th's of a second is the difference between winning and loosing.

No doubt though, for casual gamers that play an hour a week, and really mostly spend their time watching movies on their gaming system, ps3 is a good choice.

I got 1st prestige and consistently got top 3 on servers on CoD4 PC using DSL with ~150 ping. Just sayin'.

console gaming in itself is casual

I wish I could get pro-level that good at a game. I'll probably get real serious about the next Smash Bros games (whenever it comes out).

Xbox - just got my red rings of death after about 5 years.

I rang em up, and they said they'd fix it all up for free. AFTER 5 FUCKING YEARS.
