Fucking hell.

Woke up to a headache this morning, managed to go back to sleep. Woke up with my pillows over my face, but couldn't move to get them off . Struggled for a few minutes, thinking, "fuck, it's just sleep paralysis". Finally got my hands to move the pillows off.....and woke up again with pillows over my face. Thought, "Fucking dream within a dream with sleep paralysis!!!!". Tried to move hands to move pillows off....couldn't move. This time it felt like there was slight pressure actually pinning me down. Struggled to move for a very long time. Then the pressure finally eased off and I just managed to muster enough strength to shove the pillows away...and woke up again with fucking pillows over my fucking face, this time feeling them pressing down on my face, constricting my breathing. Just absolutely could not move at all to get them off my face. Panic started to set in but I still couldnt' move. Don't know how long it lasted for but the pressure just suddenly went away and I managed to throw the pillows off. Something was odd in my room. There was a flicker of motion, I looked at it, and clearly a box had moved. Fullscale paranoia sets in. Then I notice a softly flashing light. With trepidation I moved towards it. It was my plastic light saber. Cue a very long and involved eerie dream sequence.

Then I actually woke up.

3 dreams within dreams (possibly 4), each featuring progressively worse cases of sleep paralysis, paranoia and creepiness. Fucksake.

That`s pretty much what happened to me whenever I got sleep paralysis.
Ex the flashing lights.

but i've had times where i've had a fever and i go delirious- couple of times i've woken up in the middle of the night when i've had a fever with feelings of extreme anxiety and fear and everything around me seems 'big', similar to the feeling of vertigo and i've freaked out, then in the morning i can hardly remember any of it like it was part of a dream. don't think it was sleep paralysis because i was able to move around.

trustttt i get this once in a while but not when im dreaming, far from it. it just happens randomly during the day but luckily not that often. everything feels big like you said like shits towering over you, everything speeds up for me aswell and i feel like im pressured to do something

a friend of mine woke up unable to move, when he did manage to get his eyes open he saw a dark figure leaving his room through the window
there was no-one there.

My experiences were never like that, more just incapable of moving or opening eyes and then realizing you can`t breath and basically coming to terms with death.
And then waking up in the morning.
For 2 weeks I battled sleeping, always fearful of dieing.

that kinda sounds like some sort of paranoid episode/anxiety attack...

Happened the other night- not the first time but previously it was just feelings of dread and being unable to move.
I saw my mum fire a gun up her mouth outside my window while unable to move or say anything.

Was seriously unsettled for a few days after that.

Worst experience with this sort of thing

YOOO dude this happened to me when i was little. and i actually thought about posting it as soon as i read this thread but decided against it until i read your post.

i can remember a couple times, one time in particular. where i was very sick and had a fever, i kept waking up very angry and i dont even know what and then waking up in horrible fear. it was the worst anxiety ever and my sheets were soaked. i went out to the living room to get my mom and i remember my kitchen door and everything was HUGE and i felt like this little itty bitty thing in this big place. it was scary. and then all i could find was my dad sleeping on the couch.

and yeah its def not sleep paralysis i think its just delusions when you have a bad fever and wake up from a sleep.

i usually get the paralysis maybe once a month.. kind of used to the feeling so the anxiety doesn't hit unless it takes too long to snap out of it. however i have never witnessed aliens, figures, felt a presence or seen any weird shit thankfully, i would shit a brick if I had to deal with that whilst conscious let alone half asleep and unable to move.

this happened to me every morning for a few weeks, not in the sense of an 'evil demon' that most people experience, but I couldn't do anything, apart from be conscious with my eyes closed. Only way I could get out of it was trying my hardest to wiggle my toe and once i got control of my toe I just snapped out.

Fucking horrible thing to happen, couldn't imagine being completely paralysed, would be unbearable

basically the same as you, the more it happened the more I got used to it and eventually it just stopped happening

I got this for a bit. Combination of stress and MD contributed quite heavily I think. Was really horrible. Had a couple of times when I thought people were breaking in and I couldn't move.
