Dont you dare turn my thread into a deep vs. brostep debate, take this somewhere else.zerbaman wrote:See, this is what I don't get.Gutcha wrote:good to see that not everyone wants to be making the 'datsik/skrillex/borgore/excision' sound!
How is it less experimental to come up with new sounds. You guys love to hate on them for trying to sound the same, when in real fact, most of you couldn't do it yourselves. Say that "It All Sounds The Same", when in their tunes, there's more differentiation than low frequency sine waves and tambourines. Just because someone's doing their thing doesn't mean they aren't experimenting. Their sound and style is blatantly a product of their experimentation, and I'm pretty sure they go through a bunch of sounds before they have their end product..
What you don't eralizeis that this isn't a debate, I'm just asking a bloody question man. I'm not saying what is better, or who experiments the most, just asking why some people pick on and don't see the experimentation.Basic A wrote:Dont you dare turn my thread into a deep vs. brostep debate, take this somewhere else.zerbaman wrote:See, this is what I don't get.Gutcha wrote:good to see that not everyone wants to be making the 'datsik/skrillex/borgore/excision' sound!

And if you tihnk theres nothing going on in this thread then sine waves and tamborines your deaf, THIS ISNT A DUBSTEP THREAD SO STOP ASSUMING IT IS.
Basic A never stated that the brostep or whatever isn't experimenting. He simply asked for experimental stuff that IS NOT dubstep. But people come in here assuming this topic picks on people who don't experiment by doing whatever other stuff, its not the case.zerbaman wrote:What you don't eralizeis that this isn't a debate, I'm just asking a bloody question man. All I was looking for was a straight opinion from you people. I'm not even a massive fan of brostep, none of the tunes in my sig have ever been brostep..
Read the original post. I quoted and reffered to someone else's post. This isn't about Basic A, he's just annoyed because he reckons I'm trying to sabotage his thread. I seriously am NOT trying to do that.Project EX wrote:Basic A never stated that the brostep or whatever isn't experimenting. He simply asked for experimental stuff that IS NOT dubstep. Like if you're in a restaurant and order some grilled chicken and the waiter be like 'whats wrong with beef, beef is meat too!'. Yes it is but I dont feel like eating beef now ffs. Sorry for the weird analogy
