i was tempted to put a deliberate spelling mistake on there but that was a genuine typo

it must be some unwritten law of the internet that if someone corrects someone else's spelling they have to fuck up somewhere in their post

There's a difference between calling someone a racist directly, and implying what he wrote is tinged with racist sentiment.

Going to illustrate another point to you.

If they were all white your roommates, his friends etc, I'm positive you wouldn't have mentioned their race, you would've just kept it at ''roommates''. But because they were black/hispanic, you decided to mention it, under the cover of ''illustrating your story''. C'mon now. Do you get it?

Racism can be overt, and it can also be subtle and nuanced.
This wasn't a joke, and there was no reason to mention any races involved. A shit roommate is a shit roommate, but he still felt the need to add that race factor and feed into obvious stereotypes, ex. loud, obnoxious, ignorant minorities.

Read between the lines.

Race had to included in the original post, it set the scene much better.. If he had left the race bit out, then people would simply assume that he was just a social retard that couldn't get on with other white boys and girls.

Anyone might find it difficult to mingle and get along with a group of people whos language you don't speak and have different cultural ideologies..

the guys in america, at university, im prettu sure his roomates can speak english, its just a case of one night not being so uptight and put out by the fact you have some black and spanish dudes living in your place and goin and playing some cards with them and getting drunk
