Skip forward a bit, gets better. Was a heavy night all in all, that was the Dirt install, Jah Shaka in the other room.
Next event is an Outlook collab, will post the flyer on here on Wednesday, should be massive.
I just watched Dub Echoes last night...
and I just kept thinking...
Someone needs to go down there and help Bunny Lee get all those tapes archived...

They reissue them in limited runs. I remember him saying he didn't want them on computers haha.
I think I read they were getting better storage a while back. That doc was filmed a couple of years before it even came out, so they might have done by now. I'm sure several people would jump at the chance or offer to transfer them to digital for free, I know I would.

Check out the like that Soulkids posted for some live sound system tapes.
Also find some of his original music, there is some good stuff. This one is a classic in my hard steppers sets:
Jah Shaka - Kumbia Dub

Shout outs to the Roots Radics band. Probably the heaviest and deadliest reggae bands ever. The dubs from the early '80's with the Roots Radics, Scientist on the mixing desk and producers such as Jah Thomas, Linval Thompson and Henry "Junjo" Lawes are some of the heaviest dubs ever.

Yeah, wish this thread wasn't banished to this Other Music section. It was much better in the SNH.
