Need to get some new speakers. Does anybody know where I can buy a set that is easy to hook up to my laptop? What are some good websites that will ship to the US free?

You're gonna have to be more specific about the requirements, price range and type of speakers

hifi, using more for listening.
Price range 200- 300$ I know this may be hard to work with, but I am broke
I am looking for something that can produce good sub bass, and will work well in a small room. The speakers also need to be able to connect to a computer.
Thanks

same. only got default speakers and sub. mom thinks that since the speakers are fairly new that they sound as good as any other speaker and that there's no difference

Clean, as far as PC audio goes those Altec Lansing speakers are about as good as you can get quality-wise from what I gather. Mainly cos they have tweeters. However, don't expect any real sub bass from any PC speakers except for maybe the now discontinued Logitech Z-2300, which I used to have but couldn't get replaced when they broke. It says it goes down to 40hz, but there's probably a massive rolloff from like 55hz that means most deep bass will be barely there. Listenable, but if you can get a hifi system then do.
Mylon, that depends on if you want to just hear the bass or feel it

feel it 'fo shizzle.
however, i don't have the biggest budget. they don't need to be super amazin' or anything.
these are what i have right now and they just aren't doin' their job, if you know what i mean

those KRK's look mighty fine, though.
do you have any suggestions for reasonably priced speakers that are at least good compared to mine?

Maybe get Rokit 4s instead of 8s and spend the money saved on a 10 inch sub?

dunno what Rokit 4s are
but i might just get two rocket 5s, then save up and get a sub at a later time.

Sorry for this stupid question, but where can I find hifi speakers for a reasonable price? Also what do source do hifi speakers use, computer? iPod?
Thanks for the help.

Basically depends on where you are in the world, I live in Australia so I probably can't help you but I guess Amazon wouldn't be a bad place to start. Hi fi speakers will connect to anything depending on what wires you use. But yeah, computers and iPods should be compatible with any amp if you just get a red + white to 3mm jack cable
