Big up Matty G, your tunes are large. Some are more suited for home listening, some are more suited for big rigs. Just got my promo copy and LOL at the etching: "Hold on this is gonna hurt..."

JLOL at the etching: "Hold on this is gonna hurt..."
yeah spotted that :D

didn't get this one at all at first but I was mixing it tonight and I'm hooked now... its a grower and thats on average monitors...
and yes i do think that a really good tune should be able to captivate you on crappy computer speakers! obviously not to the fullest extent but quite alot.
i don't think this is always true sometimes I just don't get it till its LOUD.

It's midday on a Tuesday in my bedroom and this tune still sounds fucking huge. Got me grinning from ear to ear like I'm 11 again and trying to piss the neighbours off by playing Ratpack sets as loud as I can. Daft and deep as fuck, aces tune.

When will people start making tunes that have weight and space again?

1st heard at DMZ 2nd B.day I think, had the pleasure of the Matty G one from Nick A. n then Loefahs version.

All about hearing on a system!

Me, personally, love this one. Everything from Matty has been very gangsta- and has a slight hiphop feel to it. 50,000 watts is another one that is typical of Matty's style, I wish there was more material like this.

Loefah mix is the one, imo. He makes every choon so incredible, with such a minimal layout. I remember when MUD made my stomach turn in FWD, the bloody track should come with a warning label!!!

Out to diggin up a year old hate thread to yet again derail into love for a massive tune, Loefah is an absolute badman full stop and I'll never forget the 1st time I felt this tune @ my 1st Exodus - almost lost my spleen!

basically(in my opinion) the reason why 50 0000 watts is a dope tune is because the schooly d beat is an all time classic!!!!!! an to hear it slowed down n dubbed out is kool as fuk!!!! whether it b on the matty g tune or the original schooly d tune........... thats one of the dopest beats ever made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one of the most overhyped indeed, never liked it - the tune sucks donkey balls.
