sorry but gotta stick up for chunks here....soooo funny on the hessle audio boat....and he did a full 4 hour set nonstop in 30 something degree heat....legend!!

definately an unique festival with an untouchable line-up at a beautiful location, but for me there's a bitter taste left:
so many idiots who got absolutely no respect for other people and the environment. saw so many cool kids whose main acts seemed to be mdma, acid, booze etc, which really ruined a lot of the vibes for me, almost felt like the whole of uk was on a school trip. met some nice people though, who were really embarrassed about the behaviour of their fellow britains. also good to see some critical opinions here too.
planning to go to dmz night and/or forward sometime soon, hoping it's not as much of a kindergarten as outlook. or is it?

I do share a lot of the complaints on here where the idiots/scenesters/stnuc/whatever you wanna call them, but I had a damn good time for the 4 days.
I missed pretty much anything before 10pm on each day as far as main stages went, but I enjoyed a mad variety of sets over the duration of the festivals - for some reason I never spent much time in the dungeons so if i missed out there, ah well - but yeh particularly enjoyed the sound in the Moat and Onemans set was definitely 1 of the many highlights of the festival. Phaelahs set on the beach was also nice (even if i had to sit down by that point) and the Heatwave set on the beach was also a lot of fun....until the power cut out . There's more that I recall fondly but i cba typing an essay right now lol.

As for next year, we'll see - im sorta 50/50 atm.

Honestly BIG UP OUTLOOK FESTIVAL 2011 JEEEEEEEEEEEZ! potentially the best 7 days of my life. The music, atmosphere and vibes all week were unreal and whoever thought to host outlook in fort punto is just pure genius. Cannot wait for outlook 2012 just please dont sell more tickets for next year because then it will become some commercial shyte fest.

the whole vibe of the fest was too much. best week festival/event iv ever been too.
i didnt think there were that many hipster poser types, could have been worse.
i guess i wasnt there last year to compare with this year.

my gf had a chat with a drunken Quest on the deep medi boat and told him she reckons skream should sort his act out and play deeper stuff and stay true to the dubstep roots. he was laughing so much, shes a blonde eastern european girl and shes handing out advice to top djs
i have to agree with her tho, skream dropping tetris doc p remix on the mainstage was a festival low point for me. pokes was on the mic and he stuggled to show his ususal enthusiasim for the music! gota play to crowd i guess tho.

skream b2b plasticman 2006 set on rince boat was fucking amazing tho. the last 3 minutes of Summer Dreams played as the boat arrived to shore. i was in heaven

Bit of a random question, but does anyone know the name of a reggae tune which was being played all over the festival? It's at the start of the 11/08/2011 Swamp 81 rinse.fm show, pretty sure DMZ and Rodigan opened with it too.

Desperately need to find out!

yeah mosaix was big, was a nice little gathering round that boombox system, enjoyed the garage befor mosaix n all, pure vibez

MC for the whole weekend was Chunky. Proper funny. Swamp81 boat party, pure lols.
