So she should be treated for her illness? So why not people with depression?
I never said people with depression shouldnt be treated, anyone with diagnosed clinical depression should get all the help they deserve.
and you think you are able to judge who has clinical depression?
your point is retarded and heres why...you say people cannot be depressed as they have it so good relative to people in africa
yet youre saying people in africa arent depressed
but youve just admitted to clinical depression being a 'thing'
so maybe it can occur with anyone due to chemicals in the brain.....you know steven fry has bipolar?
ive been 'diagnosed' before not as clinical but its just a card with responses where you tick boxes....being diagnosed or not doesnt change anything....
and i dont label myself as anything at any given time but ultimately you look back a few weeks and realise theres a balance lacking somewhere

Yeah, but no one's talking about you. This is about people with a physical abnormality.
What im saying is, that imo, depression is partially self inflicted. which i why i dont have much sympathy for people who say there depressed, cos from my experience, 90% of them dont do themselves any favors

Uhh, yeah, depression has nothing to do with that. Unhappiness is
a symptom of depression. There's still fatique, motoric retardation, sleeping too much or too little, loss of appetite, loss of enjoyment in activities and other things and so on and so forth.
It's funny. People with a physically different brain are told to just 'be different'. Yet no one's telling a dude without legs to just get up and walk.

And what science is saying that, depression is a genetically predetermined and related with schizophrenia and can be triggered due to a stressor. I'll take science over fassyman.

I'd rather be depressed in a centrally heated house with a tv than a mud hut with a goat.

People with depression might as well live in a mudhut with a goat. To them it makes no difference. They wouldn't care about central heating because they don't care if they live and they probably don't even enjoy tv.

I've got no idea what you're on about tbh I was just pointing out that our depression is better than theirs. give the depressives something to be proud of.

if they had the balls to watch pick tv for 12 hours straight they'd soon leave their house. noone can withstand that amount of fly on the wall documentaries about bureaucrats.

when im in that place man i dont care about anything...as was said might as well be in a mud hut with a goat...if anything id prefer that within those situations just to be somewhere else, it certainly sounds like a simpler life as was said

How do you know if it's better? Depression is internal. The surroundings have little to do with it.
When I'm depressed, I'm constantly thinking about just going away. Sell all my stuff, buy a plane ticket and just wake up, eat, go on, sleep and wake up. Be it in a mudhut, under the stars, in a cave or in some random ass person's apartment for a night.
I'd probably still be depressed, so it's not like it would make a difference. Point is, surroundings have fuck all to do with it.

depression is essentially feeling nothing due to being overwhelmed by your mind
it wouldnt make you more depressed, being a bit sad isnt the same thing as being depressed

Big comedy internet badman aren't you? There are people on here telling you how bad they have felt with depression and you feel the need for responses like that?
