Flash Back is defiantly New Jack Swing influenced/sampled. I love New Jack Swing, never heard it used in Dubstep before. Sounds sick.
Edit: Glass Swords had to get purchased!

i heard that they called it purple cos one of jokers mates in bristol, has some condition so that he hears music as colours and he said jokers music sound like PURPLE. which i would agree with! however might just be a rumour, dont quote me on it!

Not sure if that would be true. If it was, then Joker has taken his friends perception of his music to heart. He wears purple, his photos have purple color added to them, his studio is purple, his music is titled purple. It's probably the Bristol producers working together on a mutually agreed sub genre. I've learnt that most of the purple sound comes from Bristol, so maybe it's a location thing. That type of Dubstep is probably big around those parts. it's like the "Niche" genre being from up north. The midlands and south hate the term "Niche" because it's just fluffy 4x4 but defiantly has a northern sound to it (Jamie Duggan, Big Ang etc).
Don't know. I'm just guessing.
Would be pretty deep if the rumor was true.

Hudson Mohawke's All Your Love is very Purplish too. Does Rustie and Hudson fall under House? I noticed Rustie's album was filed under House forums on DSF.
