Apparently some of the Ram issues are with people not resetting their consoles after the patch properly

the launch games arent why you buy the system. The features are beyond dope and groundbreaking. Just having that controller to control your media is worth 350.

plus Zelda, Pokemon, Mario Kart, Metroid and.................. SMASH BROS. Always worth the cost of a nintendo system

you're not downloading games to a wiiu like a PS3 or xbox. U Cloud debuts early in 2013 which is where you'll have your downloaded games.

rumor at GDC this last year was Final Fantasy tactics.... map on controller, real time fight screen on TV.

digitizers and LCD's are not cheap. Also the controller has a logic board in it. I'm guessing the controller by itself is half the cost

It's true. The good new is, you can use any external HD to store stuff, not just Nintendo branded stuff. Sony should take a page out of their book.

Problem is, none of those are confirmed except Smash Bros and Brawl wasn't all that awesome 'till the modders got a hold of it. Pokemon on consoles always sucks anyway. I really want to love this machine, but the games aren't there imo. All Nintendo has is Bayonetta, Wonderful 101, and Pikmin and the big upcoming current gen multiplats (GTA5, Watch Dogs, both Metal Gears, Bioshock, Metro) haven't been confirmed.

I think you're underestimating how many people play Monster Hunter, that's gonna get a lot of sales for Wii U. Sony should have tried to keep it exclusive.

I don't think the Wii U is gonna be in trouble at all. I'm speaking on a personal level; an HD port of a Wii game I can emulate does nothing for me.

Unfortunately it doesn't emulate to well, and last I checked you can't even do MP on the Dolphin version, which is half the fun of MH.
I haven't snagged a console from last gen yet, as the only title that interested me was The Last Guardian (was gonna get a PS3 for that), but that seems to be in development hell.
Wii, like you I emulate because hell my comp upscales the games to 1080p and for the most part runs better than an actual Wii.

Wii U however actually interests me, though the library and upcoming exclusive titles seem to be very slim pickings for now.

Just Wii. The BC is done really weirdly too, apparently, it goes into some Wii emulation mode rather than booting the games like regular Wii U games.

recent wiis don't even play gamecube anymore. can't even use the controllers.
