Yea the song "Saw". I'm a real enthusiast for their dark almost industrial-like abrasive sound. Wish they could put more tunes out.

If Kahn, Commodo, and a hand-ful of other producers weren't around that actually sound unique, I'd fuck off this entire genre entirely. Can Toasty please come forward and announce a double-album with Search and Destroy, featuring collabs with Slaughter Mob, Moving Ninja, Omen, and Elemental!?!?! Or am I just supposed to pretend that the last dozen or so releases on Tempa haven't sucked donkey-dick (Amit 12 aside, and even that doesn't compare to stuff from a few years ago) The Quest and Clouds albums better blow my mind..
lol fuck outta here, genetix's deep stuff is some of the most forward thinking deep stuff. 'killzone' and 'going in' are like these stripped back tearout beats. i generally respect your opinions but that's just completely unfair IMO. all these people saying 'dubstep is dead' are so full of shit - just because your tastes have changed doesn't mean the scene has become stagnant. tbh i've never been more excited about the scene.

also, tempa? the newest proxima release is unreal. not just from an engineering standpoint, but it's again a serious tearout / minimal hybrid ('thermal vision' specifically)

i don't know maybe i'm in the minority but i think genetix are some of the best producers atm - never really rated their tearout. and when i think of dungeon i think of, i don't know, dj madd - life you chose. genetix are not dungeon at all.

I like Killzone, but rest of the 'deep' stuff i heard from them is indeed on the snooze dungeon tip.

sounds sick. definitely not a fan of skrillz but im sure hatcha knows his audience and wont go full bro. i got over hating skrillex a long time ago. he's probably a good guy, his fans are shit tho.

also i like how hatcha is bringing the old school sound back with his hatched label. i have little music production knowledge but something about these new 'tribal' and dungeon tracks with the bongos and shit just dont do it for me. i dont know what it is. also the wub they use in every song gets old after a while.

Killzone is fine... but hardly a great tune.

I don't really know how it got here but to be fair, people are right. The state of Dubstep is dire.

Luckily, I don't see a time where Mala or Cluekid will ever be making boring tunes.

Anyone got a link to that Kiss FM show?

Hopefully, this record will keep the tired stems of dubstep from dying, or becoming a womping blob of electro-bass. :(

People are trying too hard to be "Dark" and are forgetting about the part of the music what actually matters, The energy. These lads with releases' on SOLID labels should be putting out more inspirational music than the stuff out there right about now. Bongos + Detuned sinewave = Worthy of a Tempa release apparently. All just my opinion of course. -t-
