also these samples are sounding borderline epic.

Hyperdub quietly taking out anything related to this Burial EP, but yet they haven't even mentioned this is coming out at all, my guess is Kode9 as usual is trying to keep this on the super down low as usual but he has failed once again, bet he's not a bit happy lol

Not fake, they're low q samples from one of the official sites selling the vinyls, don't remember which one though.

Rival Dealer is a banger. rest sounds a bit cheesy and indeed like they were knocked together in 10 minutes.

The first clip on that soundcloud sounds like the sample in this massively time stretched with a load of reverb with a kick and snare sampled off something just plonked on beats 1 and 3.

I just am surprised if Burial has gone from making good tunes to doing something that sounds like it was made in 10 minutes.

Have to wait to hear the proper one but so far this is awful. Also the drums on that Rival Dealer tune sound like just a straight up loop of a break. No effort.

Bit happier, not dark, more like light. little kindred feel to it, ye but screw that, cause i guess spaceape took 1 month to make, its irrelevant, does not truant rough sleeper sounded like a knocked sth, i guess this is now the image. kode9 mentioned after that untitled 2 track how burial's sending him music, cropped i dont know know 20-30 tunes together, so i think this is how it feels to be kode 9 and burial's sending demos to us, and i kinda like it, even if this wouldnt be burial i would love it. Course like almost everything, this is subjective, too.

it's not really that subjective to say that they're really simple though...

They are. Compare what he does with the drums and samples in his older stuff.
