We should continue studying human physiology though. I don't think this is something that requires a cloned self aware human being since we are making good progress with stuff like lab grown organs. Build a fully working detailed model of the human body from the ground up and you can test any drug/compound/condition, in a short amount of time with no ethical concerns holding you back.

It's crazy how complex the inner workings of the human body are. For all the breakthroughs and advances we make in science we still know little about how our own bodies work; certain physiological events remain complete mysteries.

Imo, Cancer is little more than a government experiment designed to develop new secondary humanoid life forms.
