Trusssss!
I've been sick for much of the past 7 days, it's like a cold but it hits so hard. On saturday I hallucinated that I was chained to my own ear as I tried to escape it because of the massive pressure it was experiencing. Also growing deaf in both ears atm, I presume it's all related to the pressure build up in the ENT, so I'll just wait it out, but I've started looking at hearing aids.

I think it's pressure because every time I lean forward I feel pain in my ears, even sleeping is difficult because my whole head feels like a bruise.
I did try to unblock them, and I think that's what caused the pain on saturday. It started in my left ear, which I tried to pop, but when I did that I felt something like a bone snapping and just left it mid-blow, then my friend told me about bursting his eardrum while trying to do something to the same effect which fully put me off. My sibling prepared me a garlic based solution (on the grounds that garlic can be used as an antiseptic?) and I let that sit in my ears for a few hours today, would that be an appropriate substitute to Sinus Rinse? My right ear feels clearer than my left one now, which wasn't the case when I finally woke up today.

we're not even supposed to use q-tips for the ears

go see a doctor or just rinse it with lukewarm water a bunch of times

Have you considered the logical option of going to see the doctor about an ear infection?

in a broader scope
im saying not even q-tips are supposed to go inside the ears (which is odd)
so dont do anything experiMENTAL! :6:

Its not that its antiseptic but just that it can cause the bloodflow to increase .... it could be sort of useful in relation to having a cold and clearing the sinuses but not so much the ears.. although dealing with the sinuses could relieve the ears a bit because there'd be less build up and pressure on them (and the immune system btw)

most doctors would have you pour olive oil in your ears because it comes out again and doesn't contain any non organic stuff and doesn't ..eeurrgh rot in there either.
