with that quote in mind i would say that it's not accidental, the no persona persona is an intentional part of what he's doing. like another aspect of the music. another dimension that compliments it. it's genuine. and people respond to genuine, ergo good marketing as well. not just a trick as you imply.

All this talk of Burial's anonymous nature reminds me of the chart singer Gabrielle* who only had one eye, and hid it all the time with a fringe or eyepatch. I think they should do a collaboration together and called it Gaburial.

Yes. Unfortunately there were no survivors.
I thought it would have been the razor blades, but apparently a particulary large discourse lept out of the hosts' cupboard and engulfed everyone in the room. It also nicked the sofa, putting paid to any further book groups.
But we shall not let their loss be in vain!
