yes yes! An absoloute corker of a day! (and yeah good to see! Perfect vibes to get the day going too :D )
13 hours of bloody good music. Cyrus was as deep as you like, some absoloutely menacing tunes. Get in yer head stuff  Only caught the odd bit of Walshy (was playing in the other room) but what I heard sounded so banging for want of a better word. Got the place properly moving too! (Which phletch dutifully kept up till close :D so much energy, you just couldnt stop yerself!). I think the highlight for me though might very well have been point B!! Live set, superbly done...and the tunes :o Dear lord the tunes. One twisted, rolling, stepping rhythm after another. I tried to sit down for aslong as I could :P

Then the art was bloody fantastic! Brilliant venue, nice bassy soundsystems. Everything short of the weather was spot on! (And even that worked well with the covered garden thing they had in Cuba. Definitely the right decision to move it all indoors. )

Still not on top form, will add some more later :) But look forward to hearing any recordings that might have been made!

Brilliant!

Great to see that much money being made. The bar did seem to be going pretty much non-stop all day! (Top effort from the 12 hour shift working bar staff!)

And of course amazing effort from yourself Grahame! Both on the day(s!) and throughout the last God knows how many months. I know there was serious work put into this, but from the looks of it its been rewarded with a huge amount of money for the John Radcliffe childrens hopsital, aswell as a thoroughly enjoyable day out for anyone who came! Brilliant work.

hi
a few weeks ago i ran a charity fundraiser event called BLOOPTFUNK with DJ'S WALSH (HOT FLUSH.TEXTURE RECS), CYRUS (RANDOM TRIO PRODUCTIONS) AND WARLOCK (RAG AND BONE RECS) kindly playing for a well deserving charity, the new children's hospital at oxfords John radcliffe hospital.... www.chox.org.uk

due to the poor weather, the event was brought indoors and wasn't as well attended as promotion had suggested and therefore donations were on the low side.

we have an opportunity to receive match funding from a local business (up to £700, meaning a total of over £1000 raised) if we can raise a further funds through recordings made at the event of the above DJ's (who of course rocked it and with lots of exclusive dubz). It'd also recognise the kind time that artists had given to the cause and my free time spent planning the event for 6 months and putting loads of personal time into it.

The recordings are from the party and average 1 hour long with no MC's and at 128 mp3 bit rate.

With the DJ's support and permission I will make the recording downloadable to you following a donation to
http://www.justgiving.com/blooptfunk
.
ALL FUNDS RECEIVED WILL GO DIRECT TO THE CHARITY VIA THE WEBSITE. no money comes to me from this at all.I recieve emails regrading each donation so if u agree to the simple suggested donation then PM me ur email address after donating and i'll mail u a link. Id like to suggest a donation of £3 for each link or £ 6.50 for all 3 (remember each donation shall in effect be doubled by this match funding). im keen for this recording NOT to become common internet traffic and be shared all over the place due to the above reasons especially seeing as a lot of it was done on good will of really nice creative people.

cheers :)
