Not really. There a int that many events going on. Last few times I've been to Herbal, Goldsmiths and DMZ and it's a lot of the same faces.

I dont see how that works tbh. In the case of a band ur going to see them play instruments live and their playign pre recorded music off a round bit of plastic. How does that compare to going to see a dj play pre recorded music off a round bit of plastic and instead he plays prerecorded music off... a different sized bit of plastic? I think people need to get their head around the fact its not different. It doesnt matter where the music socming from, its prerecorded music who cares, its about what u hear.

Once upon a time most clubs had bands playing in them, and then came along djs because it was cheaper and easier. And they ahd to justify the fact they were playing out records instead of playing live music on instruments. Now all these years later djs are turning on djs and looking down on them for using cds, seems retarded to me. The only reason a dj is acceptable at all is that ur there for the sound, not because theres a whole lot of skill involved in whats goin on. If u wanna see musical tallent go to a metal show, if u wanna hear good music go to a rave and accept whoever is behind the decks is gonna be playing u pre recorded music off some sort of storage device.

As for downloading music, everyones downloaded a bit of music here and there. Its not helped by the price of modern music but when it comes to current udnerground music theres no real excuse for downloading something if u really want it. Your just killing the underground and the music u love will eventually die as a result of it. New Goldie album is out, I dont have it yet, and I wont have it untill I can afford it, because theres a level of respect there for what his music has meant to me over the years.
