have a google search for Graham Acidic. He'd a producer from Bristol. A lot of his tunes contain heavy metal elements, riffs etc.

Why would you get a band together, real people who can play instruments and interact with eachother, and then limit yourselves to 140 half-time stuff in the name of a basically unrelated genre?

exactly, the thing i enjoy most about playing in a metal band is how often we can chop and change tempo/time signature within the same song, being in a dubstep/metal band would be boring as hell for me as a drummer, playing the same beat at the same speed for an entire set? no thanks...

I wouldn't mind some proper dubstep with some interesting heavy guitar parts in (syncopated rhythms etc) but most of it is just an excuse to make it solely about the double kick drum
