i thought he was just using one midi note and pitching up and down and lfo speed in automation; i.e. just using automation rather than the note editor.

I thought he was quite informative, and I got alot from it: much more than Mistabishi's, and Mista was extremely detailed--he bored me. Rusko got str8 to the point. EPIC WIN

personally
i can think of plenty of things i'd rather spend my cash on rather then an lcd or whatever
i just use my daw comp for music and a bit of internet so no gaming or anything
besides that cash can go towards new gear

Yeah i must admit I did start learning acid again simply coz of this vid, but there is a lot of flexibility in it (ex-reason user) and I am able to do a lot more with sampling such as splicing audio, reversing etc that i couldn't do with reason

Anyone know how to do this in Logic? I watched the master class the other day, but haven't been able to sort out how to accomplish that in Logic 8 yet.

This was one of the better MC vids I have seen, he went in to a fair level of detail & really seemed interested in sharing his knowledge / ideas about things. Big up Rusko!

hmm in cubase its gen under automatable funtions like volume but a few under pitch

I can automate everything outside of pitch using the ES2 synth in Logic. I can get some crazy sounds, but being able to automate pitch would be rad. Thanks for the input though!

Sorry for the OT folks....
