going from d&b to dubstep was pretty easy, just a case of slowing down, once i got the hang of that it was simple... kindacrytek wrote:Was it sort of a natural progression from dnb to dubstep? Are you turning away from the former and just strictly putting out dubstep tunes?
Do you have another album in the works?
Any major changes that happened to you since your last album?

yeah man, i think my music has defiantly changed, im just not sure how yet lolStep Correct wrote:What's up man.. Has moving to LA/Cali influenced your music since living here? If so, what?? Gangster rap, palm trees, low riders, chrondo...etc?
it still feels good, maybe not as immense as it used to but i still get all happy when i get a tune on vinyl or see people on forums bigging it up, or dj's playing my tunesAltered State wrote:Do you still get the same buss from releasing a tune as you did when you first put out a tune?
What about the satisfaction after completing a tune? Do you still feel awesome after or does that dwindle with time?

what kind of biscuit are you into? Are you a chocolate hobnob man, or more of a crinkle crunch lover?
i do it in the sampler, do the breaks as rex files and the one shots as just one sound per channel... i try to keep everything midi cos i dont like the audio section of logic, whereas with cubase i was all about the audio but not so much the midi lolBreakBait wrote:Nice one for doing this Breakage, one of my favourite producers of dubstep and dnb.
Few questions
How do you program your drums in Logic? Do you do it all in audio regions or use Ultrabeat or another sampler?
Is the reverb on the woodblock sound in matter of facts from space designer?
Favourite breaks to use in dubstep?
Yer I was goin to say that I also came to logic from cubase on PC (analogic delay was a favourite of mine too) and did all my drums as audio because you can quantize the audio regions and it has the real time fades function that I found really useful.breakage wrote:i do it in the sampler, do the breaks as rex files and the one shots as just one sound per channel... i try to keep everything midi cos i dont like the audio section of logic, whereas with cubase i was all about the audio but not so much the midi lol
i actually still dont really know how to use ultrabeat properly lol
