Nice monitors! My friend has them as well (A7)
It looks like those monitor pads are mopads - highly recommended from most folks (I just got some also). They have 4 different angles you can set them to, to point up or down in addition to isolating vibrations.

Yeah, gonna get shot of the oxygen and get the akai lpd25 / korg nanokontrol, going for the space savers.

Just built this desk a few weeks back. Sort of incorperated it into the furniture i already had. Total cost was about £25 i think from B&Q.

Flawless panorama.
I can't believe how much i've spent on vinyl and how little it still looks

What is that to the left of your lappy?
How is that mixer holding up?

Yeah the black PadKontrol actually looks a bit different to the press photos they released...I like it a lot more.
The thing to the left is a crappy $30 build-your-own-synth that I got with a Japanese magazine, Gakken SX-150. Sounds like turd, yet I've surprisingly got TONS of mileage out of it using effects and filters and whatnot.
Mixer: so far so good! Fingers crossed as always.
And to the guy who asked about Oxygen 8, mine is probably 5 years old, it's the old model...it's been through a bunch of live gigs and at least four moves and it's still standing strong...I gotta say if it broke on me, a new one would be at the top of my list of considerations.
Looking at other peoples' photos, I really have to upload a proper one, mine looks like turd in comparison

I hope you guys realise how lucky you are to have desks for your setup. My room is essentially the size of the box my tv came in

my laptop, keyboard and numark dj controller are all on my floor along with a mattress to sleep on and my ps3. If I got rid of my tv I could put my setup onto the desk that thats on but I really can't bare to live without a tv, fuck that!
I'm sure it's not good for my back to be sitting on the floor like this all the time, really need to sort something out :s might post a pic tommorow and see if anyone has any ideas for a rearrange that will allow space for everything...

I'd be surprised if your place was smaller than mine. Then again, I don't have a TV. My PS2 is sitting in a box all lonely, begging me to play it. Unfortunately I can't hook it up to my laptop (no HDMI on PS2).

Not only the desk but I think the most important piece of kit is the damn chair. I have been through like 3 of them in the last 10 years. I wish I could spend a shit ton of money on one. Currently I have one like this...
But with the arms from Ikea. Pretty sturdy and comfortable but not too comfortable. Made that mistake with the last chair. Would fall asleep at the computer all the time
BTW, I didn't show this in my other pics. My ghetto headphone rack.
AKG K702 and vintage AKG K240 "Sextettes. Not pictured are my beat to shit Sony's that I dj out with and my in ears which are nothing spesh either.

Nah my technical knowledge seems way too low to mod anything on it...I'm just using it in a very basic way...get some sounds I like, record to audio, throw it in the sampler and use loads of effects and filters on it for the most part. You can get some good siren / chiptune stuff out of it dry, but it's fairly limited. Still, it was $30, fun to make, and came with a really cool magazine (you probably can't read Japanese, but there's still some cool pictures in there

).

Still need to clean up the spiderweb of cables, and get something to raise the back of the modules so they are angled, but this is my new work area.
Better pictures soon after I do the finishing touches.
I see you post on the Ableton forum also

sorry i'm a bit late, but i see you have a roland gaia.
from the amount i've played with it, it seems cool, how do you like it?
