I recently finished up a painting I made of the still life that's in the Simpson's dining room. It's an often overlooked detail of their house, but I find it to be quite a facinating piece on it's own, so I made this copy:
I tried to jazz it up a bit, give it a sort of modern art style, with the prominent brush strokes and color patterns.
here's the original, for reference:

Yea I used Photomatix as well mate... That was my 1st attempt and I have yet to create anything that comes as close

Lol cheers mate, was pur luck really. the sky was proper scatty that day and in my experience scatty skies make a cool photo so that was my insentive to take the picture. not the pub car park lol
