idk
Netherlands teams never really managed to appear likeable. except that one time where this guy flashed the german supporters. but other than that they all look and move like tiesto.
looking forward to Argentina's loss tonight.

I think the problem most people have with the Netherlands is the bad loser angle... often such a promising team playing beautiful football marred by someone like De Jong or Van Bommel trying to break people's legs after going 1-0 down. Van Persie and Robben are both amazing, but both prone to diva antics when things aren't going their way.
I like the Netherlands generally though... I only wasn't pulling for them this round because Mexico were the underdog with an entertaining manager. If they get past Costa Rica, I'll be all for them. Germany/Netherlands final would be INTENSE.

I still can't work out what they were going for there. Did he really intend to drop down and do a push up?!

It looks deliberate the way he falls over, and in the full replay Ozil never even looks at him, clearly some ridiculous training ground move

Should've gone for the old Klose frontflip over the ball*.
*although Klose would probably have ended up backflopping onto the ball judging by his attempt the other day.

The pass after was also quite lousy. This kind of pussyfootery is why you need people
like van Bommel on the pitch

Could it have been the heat or fatigue or anything? It reminds me of those dreams where I can't fucking run and fall over when I try.
Looking at Germany's defense last night and the the problems Algeria were causing them, I think the French should really fancy their chances going forward against them. They still need to sharpen up their striking though as they did seem to have a few problems finishing against Nigeria - which should be a much harder task against Neuer in his current form. Even though they had to wait for two late goals, France have still been the most consistent for me along with with maybe Colombia. Brazil just look way too beatable but, still, I wouldn't be too surprised if a set of dodgy events arise against Colombia to put them through which would be a massive shame because Colombia deserve to progress.

Germany going for some sort of variation on the fumblerooski
Tbf if it had worked (which it nearly did if Schweinsteiger had properly lobbed the wall) you would've never hear the end of it

That little move made me throw up in the mouth a bit. How fucking dumb are they?
Ridiculous.

I like the idea of the guy stepping over then being on the receiving end of that lob, but it went so terribly wrong
Looking forward to Belgium - US tonight. Unless de Duivels picked up the slack somehow, it's probably going to US though.

Müller went down deliberately though, it's the idea that you can execute a move like that that is beyond retarded imo
