there are plenty of people who go to tesco, i don't think their entire (mahoosive) corporation is endangered by my choosing to go elsewhere for groceries.
independent/smaller name supermarkets, on the other hand, are endangered by every customer who chooses to go for the convenience and price of tesco.

Oh, I was only being silly, don't take it to heart. I use Tescos for the essentials because it's my closest store, but I tend to get bread fresh from the bakery... I only wish we had a decent butcher in my neighbourhood (Waitrose wins for meat).

I just thought it was funny to be so committed to boycotting an enormous company that you'd wander round aimlessly for hours. Or that you wouldn't give up and, well, ask Google if it really meant that much to you.

the nearest sainsburys is nearly a mile away and i can't be fucked going over there now that i went on that fucking quest all afternoon. next time, though.

Two weeks worth of washing to do, and my flatmate decides shes washing every single item in her room - there is seriously washing drying on every surface in my flat right now, and shes still doing more..........think it might be no pants to work day for me tomorrow

Went back to college to do a nursing course for a year. Did my first assignment, got it back today and was told I know too much and need to massively dumb it down and write it as if I knew the same amount about psychology as the rest of the class (as in, nothing). I was told the assignment wouldn't even be a pass because of it. First time I've ever been told that something was too good. Starting to hugely regret this mickey mouse shit, I'd have done plumbing or something if I could afford 2 years in college.
