Is it actually going to be stealth again?

Seems like it has option for either, unlike the imprssion full E3 trailer gave.

Anyone started Farcry 3 yet?
The reviews make it sound amazing.
Just what I expected from Farcry.
Looking forward to getting it.
I almost bought it on Saturday but it's still overpriced.

yes they are. I tried few mods but they are really disappointed me. I play only the vanilla game. This series always give me inspirations for music making.

There are some good mods, mainly the bug fix and graphic enhancements. Also a few that add back in content that was left out due to time constraints. The ones that rebalanced the games kind of suck.
One of the charms of STALKER always was the harder the difficulty, the more realistic the ballistics of the guns and damage for both you and the AI. It made normal or easy difficulty actually more difficult heh.

I played STALKER Chernobyl for a bit but just got really bored of the many times you would fight through a group of enemies for 10 minutes only to be 1 shot by some bad guy coming round the corner from a direction you weren't looking, plus the guns were so terribly innacurate :<

yeah. its the best far cry yet. i didnt think far cry 2 was a bad game but in light of what everyone else thinks of it, far cry 3 'redeems' the franchise name. this game is brilliant.

only thing i dont like is the main character. hes a wimp. e.g. i run through a camp, slice open a guys neck whilst at the same time reaching for his knife to throw at another guards head, then ignite a hut full of guards with a flamethrower whilst planting a mine at the entrance so if they try to escape the fire they get blown up..... but hes still cracking stupid whiteboy jokes and speaking all fairy like. he has no manliness.

You're pretty much saying the same things I read on the reviews.
This makes me very happy.
I was wanting it to be like the original Farcry.
Absolutely loved it.

original was indeed a classic. get this on PC tho, consoles have frame rate issues big time

just copped far cry 3 and it is seriously sliiiick, although I did get eaten by a crocodile earlier..
