LHD- Listened to your track Waitin Fah Daddy, and I like the drums, particulary the snares alot. Very chilled stuff, ncie and ambient, but I would crank those subs up some more, use some compression and blow it up. couldnt hear the bass too well , and im rockin some deep headphones...

I'd also say trying messing with the sub bass a little, to make it a little more engaging, thrown in an LFO or subtle wobble maybe....overall real chill stuff tho, keep it up. Woudltn say its necessarily dubstep, but we all need some mellow vibes...

Imaginary Forces- Shit's dope man, listend to Wicked Thought and you had some great bass going on there. Drums have nice movement, variety, and the bass is deep, has a full sound, and overall ther bass and LFOs have a good interplay goin with the drums.
Only thing I'd do to it would be to find a good reverbed up sample to play around with through the track, and to make the second drop a little heavier...maybe to a lwoer octave on the bass...

As for my stuff, I only got 2 tracks so far and they are right meow- http://soundcloud.com/the-snare-bear

do me a biggggg mofo'in favor and check out the Liam Neeson track, it's the newer one, but hey don't hesitate to give Lamb Chops a listen to...any feedback, harsh or happy, is greatly appreciated

thanks dudes!

@snare bear-Bass in Liam sounding good, vocals sounding good, only thing I would say is that some of the elements in the mix are too loud and painful to my ears in the phones(and I do have good headphones) just a bit of eq work and mix down down work, more reverb on a couple of the sounds. Also, some of your subs do click just a bit, back the attack just a bit more. I like the idea of the tune, very creative, good movie too!

Cheers man! some good feedback there, ill have another play no doubt sooner or later with it.

Listening to Liam's Going to Take Your Soul now...

Holy shit! Track is fireeee man. The snare is incredible. Drop is intense, had me on the edge of my seat. My only gripe would be the wobbles/sounds/whatever you want to describe them as that start at 59 seconds come in a bit too loud. Would be nice to have them slightly quieter as to preserve the dynamics of the bass and track as a whole.

other than that, really sick track.

LHD wrote:Final 320, downloadable on the soundcloud, feedback appreciated. I think I'm done but I did all the mixing and mastering myself with izotope ozone, some stereo speakers and a pair of Sennheiser HD-380 Pros. So....anyone out there with some good monitors who wants to give it a listen and tell me if I need to change something, please let me know and thanks! Enjoy the free tuneage!

@Lowpass, dude that page is really weird and it loads up a slightly stoopid tune when I click the link. ?

I redid the bass in the Waitin' Fa Daddy tune. I'm gonna wubwubwub it cause that's not my style. Fro some reason the soundcloud audio is softer than it is in itunes though. It's at 140 bpm, lemme know what ya'll think.

I like that tune, don't think I have anything bad to say about it. I'd play that tune for sure.

LHD
I like this track a lot as well, I can't think of anything bad to say - I'd play this one too. I DL'd a copy - thanks for that.

My productions aren't as good, and I have been playing with many of the same sounds lately to see what vibes I can get out of a very similar palette.

The newest tune is called Move, I had received input a few weeks back that I should use more pads or or other sounds to help create a more interesting tune so I tried to do that with this one more then I had previously. Any feedback is appreciated

I've finished up an older track, first one in the virb player called Ghosts. Its pretty abrasive stuff, but no wobble. Let me know if anyone wants 320's for their sets. I'm not at home, so I cant check other peoples tracks ATM, but will give feedback later.

I didn't mention there's like a 1min ad (I think) before it, unless mine is the really stupid tune you mentioned

@Lowpass-Bruv I would never call anyone's tune on this forum stupid! This is all about love man! The tune is by a band called Slightly Stoopid!
I just couldn't find how to get past the ad I guess! I will check again! Big up!

@ L que, mate that love love track is nice, feelin' the dubby reggae side to it,
Dub runners is soundin' pretty cool too, my only crit is the colour of that myspace player yuk you need to fix up :D

@ Melodik, Sounds pretty trippy, sweet drop, would have maybe liked the snare a bit bigger on the drop, so maybe keep the same on the intro and then layer/layer more on the drop. Other than that I cant see any flaws
