they didnt seem very determined at all until like the last 15 minutes of the match

Superb performance from the US... really could've gone either way. I'm hoarse this morning We started with a verse of America The Beautiful on the balcony before the anthems.

Yedlin was a revelation, but a fresh Lukaku was just too much. So disappointing that the US's late charge didn't square things up (lovely free kick routine... bet the Germans wish they'd kept Jurgen on!) ... the team and the fans really did you lot proud.

US was shit most of the game tbh

Aside from Messi it's a shame all the world's top players seem to be nob heads, this Roduiguez looks like Ronaldo 2 with his stupid pouts
