I found this book on the floor walking home drunk one night and started reading it the other day. Didn't know anything about Primo Levi, but he is a serious character. Worth a ganders.

The Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi
won his first battle at the age of 13 against and accomplished swordsmen. won over sixty duels over mainland japan. died undefeated...real secret ninja shizzle. the central theme of the book is self reliance, like preparing your own pot noodle.

I strongly recommend you take it off you list and place it before your eyes
I have my doubts about the upcoming film though
Otherwise I'm reading Inverting the Pyramid: A History of Football Tactics by Jonathan Wilson
which is the bible if you write for the Guardian sports pages

Just finished "the Dice Man' what can you say about that book....
just started reading 'House of Leaves' by Mark Z. Danielewski. Not too far into it but seems pretty fucking cool so far. Iv'e not read anything like it before, totally original style and structure and pretty damn freaky.
'Twelve' by Nick Mcdonell is well worth checking out as well.
