Also every successful mix the crowed goes mad for a few seconds, like every time... wtf. generally looked like a shit rave too, made out to be some epic thing, wtf was Digweed doing at an illegal rave with 35 people anyway....
Surprised there is only one decent film about 90s raving.

He drops out of the business and becomes a homeless drunk. Cray wakes up to a pulsing beat in an abandoned warehouse, where a "rave" party is in full action. To his rescue comes Anamika, a computer artist, who takes him outside for fresh air. They become friends and eventually reinvent TJ's career. With the help of friends, they replace his hands with prosthetics and design a metallic cyber looking suit. TJ quickly becomes an overnight sensation, known as Cyberstorm. The finale is a dramatic scenario where TJ has to make crucial decisions about his new life.

also i guess this actually happened then?

Snap, premiering at the SXSW Film Festival next week, is a pretty grim tale. Young stars Jake Hoffman (yes, son of Dustin) and Nikki Reed (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2) have both been in their share of dark films, but their upcoming feature about a schizophrenic dubstep fan and the girl he becomes obsessed with is by far the darkest.

Saw Trance recently.

Not my favorite Danny Boyle film. It was done well and it was visually appealing but the ending didn't sit well with me.

It seems like in all of his movies plot elements appear out of the proverbial ass in the last act. What starts off as an engaging film with an interesting premise gets pulled down by the ending.

Rosario Dawson is mighty fine though.

6/10

Kind of had to watch most of kick-ass 2. Seriously terrible, even worse than the first one. 1/10

Jodorowsky's Dune.

Worth the wait, retells the story of the greatest movie never made with some old and new anecdotes as Jodorowsky is as enthusiastic as ever about it. Plus, fans hoping to get some glimpses of the graphic/artistic material really get their filling too. It also shows just how much this movie influenced American Sci-Fi, much more than I ever imagined.

Great watch if you're a fan. I wasn't a great Jodorowsky fan (I think El Topo is one of the most overrated 'cult films', Holy Mountain was slightly better), but seeing this my appreciation of the guy has certainly risen.

8/10

Beau Travail. It took a female director to make the most masculine movie I've ever seen, seriously good :Q:

The Monuments Men

Rather bad actually. Very incoherent, couldn't get into any of the characters. Felt extremely Hollywood even when I was expecting it.

Yep. Expected more from Clooney, this is not on the level of his other films

Just watched the new superman film man of steel. Pretty bad, its better than the other one with kevin spacey, but still terrible overall. The story was weak, and I wasnt impressed with cgi either.

Dallas Buyers Club

couldnt fault it really

good acting, good story, learned some interesting things about the history of HIV. 8/10 maybe? i hate most films so thats a pretty good rating

shame it came out at the same time as Wolf of Wallstreet. that film was pretty overhyped (whack) and kinda feel Dallas Buyers Club got overshadowed massively when it should've been the other way round. but i guess DBC didn't have leo decaprio and 9039120381098391 sex scenes

is dune the thing with the big sand worm?

worth watching aye? havent seen a good sci fi film in agesss. watched bladerunner not long ago. sick film. plot kinda lacking but the whole bladerunner world that's created is like the pinnacle of sci-fi universes imo

nah not the lynch one that´s shit. is a documentary of a failed attempt of jodorowski of doing a sci fi movie in the 70s based in dune novel with a massive project with lot of important people innit like moebius, pink floyd, orson wells etc
