And how does that interfere with magma's statement?
Never understood how people could like giridon or baseball. way too slow for my taste. also I think the over-commercialisation of american sports, with ads absolutely everywhere and ad breaks every two minutes, is really off-putting. don't understand why one would think it's acceptable to get ads on a ppv channel in the first place. I'm not paying to get ads, I'm paying to watch stuff.
how are football programs though? also ads everytime the ref halts the game?

haha I was being pedantic, sorry.
And you hit the nail on the head with 'American' sports; unfortunately its also why we get such terrible coverage of sports like soccer. Almost no U.S network is willing to play a game where you can't jam a series of commercials into every 3 minutes.
It makes me cringe that a lot of people's favorite part of the Super Bowl is the commercials. Its like the summation of American consumerism all wrapped up in a easily edible meal from McDonalds; drive-through entertainment. Its like the EDM of sport haha, fully unbearable.

so tonight's the night. france vs. germany, les bleus vs. Neuer. I hope DD plays young and hungry Griezmann instead of Giroud; the latter was absolutely useless vs. Nigeria and didn't do shit for Benzema. The last 28 minutes, as soon as Griezmann pressured the left flank, were pure bliss. I really hope for a similar effort, with strong altruistic plays. Griezmann and Valbuena on the sides, Debuchy and Evra (please don't fuck up) with some swift pressure from behind, Pogba in the middle to hold it all together... Wonder who'll be playing in central defense. Kosc was good against Nigeria and I'd favour him over Sakho against the technically strong germans. Varane is untouchable.
know what fuck that play Sakho. I really like this guy.

Germany's defence looks rusty. France however, have shown two faces: a good attacking side getting balls in either deep or from the sides (mainly through Valbuena) but also a lackluster side that couldn't really find any options at times.
