yeah, i know. couldn't listen to that kinda stuff for a couple of years. guess i'm getting a bit bored of everything else

Yeah, I can understand that - once things start to get a bit stale you tend to go back to what once caused a spark.
It seems to be a reoccurring phase, at least with me.

pretty much the same with me. though in the last year i've been getting that feeling once every couple of months or so. at least it keeps things interesting.
either going back to something, or checking out something i never cared for.

Yup. There seems to be a distinct lack of tunes with ...oomph/meat/balls (imo. inb4 "you're not looking hard enough) so in that respect I can understand the tunes you posted.
Anyway, I think this thing happens to us all - it comes with age... or at least, a certain knowledge of the history of music.
