@hotgrot Sounds like a sort of wonky dubstep thing - which is kinda interesting it needs more of a lead line tho as everything is kind of on the bassline and its not able to move around enough to really hook you in. Nice to hear a happy sounding DS tune
Cheers bud, will definitely bear that in mind on my next venture!
Loving that post office track by the way.. nice eerie reverb on the synth, reminds me of "beware the friendly stranger" by Boards of Canada :)

Some nice ideas but I think there is a bit to much going on here at once at times? There are quite a lot of sounds here, trying stripping them back and introducing them gradually as the tune progresses rather than throwing them all out at once, because there's not a huge amount of variation going on as the song goes on.

Also, reckon the drums could do with a bit more phattening, maybe try layering a couple of kicks together and some compression?

Dedicated the Posties around the world ... indeed to anyone who has ended up trapped in a job the don't like with people they wish they had never met, petty, cruel people who wouldn't know art if it bit them.

The sample is from Bukowski and I hope some of the darkness of his book the Post Office comes through.

Only a demo so feedback would be great although I do realise its not going to be everyone's cup of tea but - you know ... I like it moody.

Ill pick out some tunes and get yall some feedback in kind :D
Very dark vibes, I like. Wouldn't play this out myself in the club but very good to listen to. The drop at 2.02 could do with some work, the mid range wobbles sounds fine but there's nowhere near enough sub bass in the mix! Or maybe they're not coming through on soundcloud.

Anybody that fancies giving me feedback on my new tune, that would be most appreciated!

@Thierry_Le_Dj Strange mix of sounds on this one - I thought it had a wierd 80s feel in terms of the drums and synth sounds (the snare is like cameo on word up - ie massive) - maybe you should get into that more electro sound of Joker and such like? Interesting but a bit more detailed production work is needed to make it really snappy.

thanks for the feed back!
will work on the track...
was my 1st attemp to this style,
hopefully will sound alot better soon.

[quote="sparse"]Its the first garage style beat i have made in a long time, influenced by burials production. The track is called "here with me" and is up on the myspace. if any1 is into this syle and wants to give feedback, i'll be more than happy to listen to there tracks in return.

I feel this tune..very burial like and almost a sort of chase and status underline bass(this is a complement cos i like em)...only critiscm is the bass should be louder..other than that i can see this gettin a release...

I had a 9 minute Dubstep mix up on Soundcloud

Along with a newer track I call Make a Sound (Club Dub).

Many beats I have sample artists like Dr. Dre, MIA, Radiohead, and some others.

Definately packed with variety in wobble and all the good stuff.

Check me out and give feed up on soundcloud

Thanks

Song sounded good, i felt like the snares could do with a little reverb maybe and the song could be abit more bassy.

If anyone could check my song and give me some feedback, good or bad it will be much appreciated.
