A really good game between Romania and Scotland just finished up, 34-24 to Scotland. I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing a few more decent contests amongst the minnows of the tournament.

The Ulrich Troyer LP is AWESOME. Sound clips dont do it justice at all. If you like kinda minimal dub+modern music making stlyes (you'll see what i mean), chances are you'll like this. Two thumbs up.

Completely got my dates mixed up, so turns out I have three weekends before Portugal, not two, so can kick back this weekend and take things easy instead of running around like a madman.

Mate's birthday gathering today. Was going to go, but wasn't especially looking forward to it as there were far too many people I was largely indifferent about who would be attending.

Just given another mate a call about it, and he's confirmed that a load of people have dropped out and are now not coming, and the one's that are still attending are all people who are proper sound that I haven't seen in a while 8)

Slept for a good nine hours. Woke up with a sore back though. I think I need to rotate my mattress soon. Heading to the beach after sitting on the throne and getting rid of last night's food debauchery with me girls. How we had a thirty minute conversation about poop, I don't have a clue. Best quote:

SJ: Eww hun, you got some change back.

I love talking to women about pooing. It's one of my favourite talking points. I'm being super serial.
Although when I say women I mean close friends, not gyal pon de dancefloor. "HEY MY LAST POO WAS PRETTY RUNNY HOW ABOUT YOURS?" never goes down that well.

The conversation was more of our [ex] men/male roommate's poop than anything. We can't understand why you don't double flush! We imagine your poop are ginormous since all of it never gets flushed down. Or some coming back up. Hence, me quoting my friend's line to her man.

I doubt I will be comfortable talking to males about their poop. The only thing I would tolerate is my SO. There's an unwritten law about it and I do prefer him spraying air freshener after he drops the deuce.

Don't forget to double flush!

All this talk of faeces has put me off my grandmother's wonderful cooking.

USA vs. Ireland on now at the RWC. I don't see the states doing much damage to be honest but hopefully it'll still be a good game.

edit: Been a good one so far, 10-0 to the Irish at halftime. They might not have scored yet but the US are punching well above their weight.

edit 2: 22-10 to the Irish in the end. The US captain Todd Clever was amazing in an overall enjoyable game of footy.

Been a bit ill. Though it's meant today I've just had a lounge about. Had another go at making some beats. Even though I rarely have the patientce/time to put hours into a tune, I can feel myself getting better with every one.

But yeh, pleased with my little Shackleton-esque, congo beats :)
