Yunx still plays plenty of good tunes on his show. Though I agree "dungeon" gets a bit boring, specially with all sorts of new producers trying to be the next KM/Sleeper etc., but everything is stale and boring in the big picture (including whatever flavour of the month type of "bass music").

Good friend of mine (he's a fucking wicked guitarist) wants me to play synth and do some production for his new metal band. sent me a few of the drafts he's done for his demo and so far they're brilliant.
I don't think I'm anywhere near good enough to be messing with shit this brilliant, but I definitely want to be a part of it. I'm utterly conflicted, guess it comes down to confidence at this point.

I finally went to my Kant class today. I really enjoyed it despite not having done the reading and missing the last 5. Makes me even more disappointed I haven't been but looking forward to getting stuck in before it's too late

Nawww fuck Kant, I remember studying categorical imperative at A-level, from what I can remember (admittedly not a huge amount) it was a load of old cobblers

tbh I know fuck all about Kant, all I know is that when we covered him in A-level it mostly just hurt my head and that I spent a lot of time in class loudly disagreeing with the stuff of his that I did actually understand

Yeah i dont get why people are like "dungeon or bro!" when all you have to do is look at one of the genre's biggest labels, Deep Medi, to see that isn't true.
And if i looked though other label's output i'd probably find more "not dungeon or bro" output.

dungeon's such a vague term, though i mostly think of it as biome wannabes rather than anything deep (like medi or tectonic)

i'm hoping either the 2-step rhythms or the more obvious reggae influences will come back more.
