Woooo, back to NZ soon. USA vs Russia tomorrow evening. Some good games in the Rugby World Cup today: Canada defeating Tonga 25-20 and Scotland on their way to posting a win over Romania playing in a much better game than I thought it might be.

The wknds games were killer.
USA had a close one as did England.
Japan game was also great to watch.
Hell even Namibia played well.
This world cup is developing nicely.
Now SA just need to drop half of the dead weight in the team.

No doubt the South Africans will find form as the tournament progresses and I agree that the pool games so far have been really good.

@epochalypso Early morning flight to Auckland (from Seoul) and then another flight to New Plymouth for the game that night.

I should say the All Blacks but the media hype and over commercialism is making it really hard to like them. Might just turn my favours to the Japanese because John Kirwan (a former All Black who I admire) coaches them.

you reckon the SA kicking game is good?
I wish we'd stop giving the ball away to be honest.

The Wales game was painful, but it did cause my generally-not-interested-in-sport Saffa housemate to get up before everyone else and watch rugby on his own, which can only be a good thing.

The Bok's will be in their stride before too long..

i don't think the all blacks have peaked yet. if they settle on a team by the france game which stays the same through the playoff rounds, we're in good shape.

anyway, there's a new record store just opened in welly, so that made me happy today
