If anything, Blackdown might have to make an apology over this.

Also, when I thought DnB didn't belong in 130, the first thing related that popped in my head was jump-up crap cause that was the type of tunes mostly produced by the guy

It's more jungley are hardcore right?

No apology needed.

Regardless if the track is shit, you can't go around telling man not to use certain sounds because you don't like them, especially when the track has nothing to do with you.
^trillest talk

but how can u actually say:
bennyfroobs wrote:if u actually know who blackdown is then why are u even trying to debate what hes saying

wait wait, hold up, lemme just see if i'm getting this... I'm not quite sure what I'm seeing here.

this is dubstep forum, a collection of people who've seen an incredible scene, that incubated for six years, jumped on and ruined. and this is the 130 thread, a collection of people who seem to be aligned in finding a new seam of bass heavy, percussive, diverse, creative sounds again.

some guy with a seemingly vast following posts a bait UKF-style, trance-synth heavy track, describing it as "130 bass music new wave", and i'm supposed to apologise for saying "hold on, wait a minute?"

Sparks of true creativity are very fragile, people; we should not forget recent history.

The tune is shit, but the argument is pretty cringe-y tbf. Some no name producer that will have nothing to do with the daily comings and goings of Dusk & Blackdown, Wen, Parris, etc. but they're all there acting like this is some major threat to the integrity of the Keysound crew. On christmas day no less

i dont rmemebre posting any of those things last night
so wounded today i have to remain horizontal otherwise i'll die

re the facebook thing: tbf the guy can make ewhatever shit tunes he wants, we dont have to listen to them. but i dont think everyone is on the same new wave length with the labelling issue. quite a few people have worked incredibly hard over the past couple of years to cultivate a scene with a certain vibe on the go, and for someone who clearly has absolutely no clue to bandgwagon that with the least appropriate cheezy shite is fairly muggish tbh

also tbf, this is the problem with such vague 'labels' like '130' and 'new wave'

the baseline is good but thats a long shot from ultimate percy :p

Basically, I've never seen 130 mentioned outside of DSF or people I know from DSF. To expect the rest of the world to never mention 130bpm is a bit much.

Also, this scene is about the 500th scene to use the term "new wave".

It's a funny turnaround to see people going from "130 is a stupid name" to big players in the scene getting wound up because somebody said something was 130

And big ups for Randal & Andy C, Ellis Dee (Junglist Warrior :Q: ) and Dillinja.

And yeah, peshay made great tunes.

I'm not very educated on the genre but still there's a lot I would chose over that tune
