not really. this is part of the problem i sing everything, have quite a low jazzy voice, but i'm not spending any time performing or exploring making music by myself and i'm hypercritical b2b not very skilled with the theory side of music so i don't write my own music either.

i wrote a plan in class today though. gonna put a couple of covers up so i have something to show people i want to do vocals for ( hi jayladders), and brush up on my guitar skills and scales and chords etc so i have something to offer other than just a voice. i've been sort of half heartedly looking around for open mic nights but most of them have a blanket ban on covers lol, peak.

yeah that would be awesome! i think it would be easier to write lyrics if given a track to roll with but you can write if you want, or tell me what sort of thing you had in mind, or whatever C:
