It seems like every two months it gets a religious re-visit, as if I need to reacquaint myself.

It's on okay album. Venetian Snares lacks so much...substance.

Is that the "classical" one? I thought it was really weak... insanely jocked by fans because of the choice of instrumentation, not the actual composition. It was hardly fucking Bach, was it?

Chocolate Wheelchair Album FTW. Snares should remember what he does best... silly, clever dance music.

yeah and Blinking Lights and other Revelations was awesome too, easily one of my favourite bands.

E in himself is an interesting character as was his father.

Oh yeah. Fucking brilliant album. Might have to drag it out over the weekend and have a little emo crywank.

Fascination Street and Love Song are both incredible tunes.

He produces way too much garbage. The people who call him a "genius" need to stop sucking his glass dick and actually listen to one of his whole albums all the way through. They're not very good. Same with Squarepusher, I'm afraid.

Well, actually there are two "classical ones" .. This one was sampled from
various pieces, mostly Bartok and Elgar. The other one DID sound pretty
weak SONICALLY, but that's because uhm.. it wasn't sampled. I can only
applaude for the brave and imho succesful attempt to merge melodic
intensity with rhythmic insanity.

I have a stubborn discontempt for Snares ever since he fucked up Glade in 2007. Guy thinks he's above everyone. Prima donna' in true form. Couldn't believe that Glade asked him back this year.

I'm with you, mate... I was fucking PISSED OFF at Bangface too. No way that was an equipment problem, they hadn't fucking bothered to get their set ready more like. The Glade one really took the piss.... I mean *we* were dealing with the shitty soundsystem too and we'd PAID to be there. Fucking selfish, diva twat, tbh.

Caught the end of his set at Glade this year though and he actually played music that you could dance to, it was great.

Definite tnuc though.

Hahaha, yah I can imagine how you feel.. I've seen a few disappointing
gigs by him, but then again NOTHING gets to me like a Venetian Snares
liveset. Music that makes me want to scream at the top of my lungs,
set my boss' house on fire and makes me remember why I initially
started doing drugs alltogether.

I'm one of those fanbwois, for me it's the craziest shit in existance.
