has dubstep reached its high point? Not that i am anyone really but I have had the fortune of djing super frequently and at big events in Victoria BC. And I am quitting djing dubstep. But also quitting djing all together. Dubstep is rinsed out IMO. Not many tunes coming out that I am feeling. And the crowds just want to hear heavy hardcore beats that lack intelligence. Dubstep, peace out

It all depends when you got into dubstep.

If you were in it from the early beginnings, perhaps that period was the highest point. I myself completely turned dubstep in 05-06 and so that period and the period just after (up to '08) were perhaps the high point for me.

I can imagine people who are getting into it now, or got into it when the wobblez took over, that this high point is right now, or just behind us. And for some the high point is yet to be reached.

In short : fuck that question.
