Olux: got a great sound going on - maybe just shove in a couple more samples and random bits and pieces to make it sound a bit more distinct.
2boss: Amazing subbass. Really snappy and original sounding. Again, I'd consider finding some random bits and bobs to shove in there just to move it a long.

dude this is a sick song. Nice and chilled but very interesting. Loving the sampling, great style. I'm a fan of the messy-ness and it didn't effect it negatively to me. I would like to hear the drums pick up toward the end with more of a bounce or something to see it out. Great work, look forward to hearing more. Olux.

meh this is my first atempt thats i kindof like. gonna play with it maybe. the woobles not really what i want. being messing with fruity loops for a month now
@ deadcell
Sick tune, I love the massive snares. I think you should work on the quality of the low subb, it sounds a little muddered, might be colliding with the kick frequencies.
But here is a tune I am working on and would like some feed back on. Soundcloud

Chilled psy/spacestep WIP from me, needs some samples I think.
This is my first track where ive actually gotten this far normally i hear the song too much and get over it hahaha. Just started getting into producing in the last couple of months and ive decided to study the bible before i try and make another track. This one could do with some good mastering its definately not at a producing level. Let me know what you think

I think drums are the main problem, more specifically the hi-hats and the snares. After the drop it seems to either be only one hi-hat playing or nothing at all. Try and get 3 or 4 different hat samples, so they sound similiar but slightly different qualities such as pitch. Give them a good shuffle and it helps a lot. I've started to steer away from hi-hats as a matter of fact, i'm using cymbals and rides, shuffling them about and inserting a delay - you can hear that in my work in progress track in my sig. Think it fills out my sample track, without all the cymbals it'd sound really bare.
Snare wise, it almost sounds like a rimshot? May be the sound you're going for and that's fine, but i'd imagine you're wanting a hard hitting snare to go with the bassline. Find a few nice snare samples (Buy the Vengeance House pack!) and layer them up - perhaps add a little distortion and a slight reverb.
I think that the vocal sample in the middle is too long. Love the rewind, personally i'd keep that, keep that initial 'WHAT!' and then drop straight back in. Not a big fan of all the gangsta dialogue that comes in afterwards haha. Also like the rise and the delayed 'side side side' and then the pitchshift. Perhaps use that inside the first drop, and then do what i said with the rewind and the 'what!' in the middle?
Bassline sounds are great, if you want to get variation to the main bassline open up 2 or 3 instances of the same bassline synth and change the settings slightly. The other way would be to automate the vowel filter (sounds like it anyway?) on the bassline so it moves more.
Overall a nice little track for your first time man. Keep it up and let me know how it goes!

A track im working on in need of feedback thanks guys
Fraksure & Dizzy, really like both your tracks, they have some sick wobbles in them! Especially like the drop in your song Fraksure!
Heres a new song I've been working on over the last few days. Soundcloud
At the moment im experimenting with darker stuff, trying to get filthyer, but I dont know... Any feedback & Help would be great!
more than happy to feedback on anyone's work. sometimes i feel like its better to ask from a likeminded individual. of course not all the time!
really liking the sound on this one, please hit me up with a 320 when you're ready

this is an experiment hard, just wana know how it sits on ya speakers like. its extremely subbed out & its more the affect it had on me running through the p.a than musical. the worst thing about composing on the big speakers is i can turn it up & hear it all nicely as; but it sounds muffled on the headfones, will sit nice when i masterish it.
I real wana leave feedback, but i dont wana just say...bro thats phat, massive, oh & jaydot...sus out ya fukn levels ya killn me.... but i real dont know what to say ay..so ill just give feedback when i feel i have something 2 input!!CHEA
hexade wrote:yeah same lol, and i generally dont have enough to spend on my tunes, and dont even know how to tackle mastering lol, but im gradually getting more developed
dirty bass sounds sweet man. too me the snare could be abit louder. just my opinion.
