Yeah. I was maybe a bit hasty. I saw the name in the tracklist and went a bit beserk...Skriptah wrote:Just listened to that mix, was not the vip, unless im mistaken, but it didnt sound like the one in the link above.
spoke to mala himself and he said there was a 1% chance of this being released...amidoinitrite wrote:![]()

any sauce on this? possible release?
definitely agree... the way the tune kind of creeps around is magical.Devry[Kaneda] wrote:Honestly, I like the original more. It has more space, and kinda lopes along, which I really dig.

on the benga and skream radio one thing they said "here's a few tracks with upcoming releases from mala, pinch & loefah etc" and the tracklisting is labled as DMZ....slanguage wrote:spoke to mala himself and he said there was a 1% chance of this being released...amidoinitrite wrote:![]()

wishful thinkning?
this. i think id prefer it to stay as a dubplate just to make it that much more insane when it drops when your outMoultz wrote:You hear the intro and your like? CAN IT BE?!?!
nah...that logic has never made sense to me...i understand where you're coming from, but i hate that mentality (no disrespect) because its like people are content with not owning the best music the genre has to offer...singlepoint wrote:this. i think id prefer it to stay as a dubplate just to make it that much more insane when it drops when your outMoultz wrote:You hear the intro and your like? The logic makes perfect sense to me, it is pretty much exactly the same tune just with a bit more energy, this is why it should stay a dubplate. If this was a whole new track then fair enough but like I said it is just the original with a bit more energy. i've heard tunes like horrid henry pleanty of times at home and out at raves and when it drops i stil...if the DJ drops it right it'll always have the same impact as it did the first time it was dropped...another example woulf be that coki played goblin back in december and the way he blended it when it dropped i went mad
yeah true...your points are obviously valid but i don't know...imo i would just rather own what i consider to be great music...rather than going to dances and praying he plays it...and after hearing it probably 4 or 5 times never hearing it again...and the VIP are completely different songs...if we're talking energy wise...they do completely different things to a dance...Hibbie wrote:The logic makes perfect sense to me, it is pretty much exactly the same tune just with a bit more energy, this is why it should stay a dubplate. There is so much wrong with this sentence for me, there is so much great music out there that does get released infact the majority of music that we hear does eventually get released so what is wrong with these select few tunes that don't get released? personally for me I love missioning to these nights and hearing these special tracks that would never be heard anywhere else, hearing DMZ vs MZN for the first time in the dance was something else and knowing that only 3 people in the world have this track and being one of a significantly small majority of people in the world to hear this track on a system Justifies dubplate culture for me.slanguage wrote: i would just rather own what i consider to be great music...rather than going to dances and praying he plays it...
