Yeah. I was maybe a bit hasty. I saw the name in the tracklist and went a bit beserk...

It was mixed in a lot though.

MASSIVE TUNE, IT's A REAL GAME CHANGER!
THE VIP IS DOPE, BANGS A LITTLE HARDER!
3X RELOADS REALLY STRETCHES IT OUT A BIT!

Skream & Benga played it on their radio slot on Radio 1 last night. Cleanest version available to listen to?

well i've asked mala in person and in a pm on here to release it so if it does ever get released...i think its safe to say i had a hand in it :cornlol: :cornlol: :cornlol:

edit

i just looked at the tracklist and they do list the dubplates as dubplates...and it is stated as DMZ.. :corntard: ...i don't want to get my hopes up tho...

I don't mind whether it gets released. I'd probably buy it, but I would enjoy it being a dubplate special. :)

Hearing it on Skream & Benga show, reminded me how weird it sounds. You always expect the flow of the original, but when it isn't, you just go :o "shiiiiiit" :5:

Kinda magical... :D

nah...that logic has never made sense to me...i understand where you're coming from, but i hate that mentality (no disrespect) because its like people are content with not owning the best music the genre has to offer...

i've heard tunes like horrid henry pleanty of times at home and out at raves and when it drops i stil :5: ...if the DJ drops it right it'll always have the same impact as it did the first time it was dropped...another example woulf be that coki played goblin back in december and the way he blended it when it dropped i went mad

The logic makes perfect sense to me, it is pretty much exactly the same tune just with a bit more energy, this is why it should stay a dubplate. If this was a whole new track then fair enough but like I said it is just the original with a bit more energy. Like Mala's secret weapon in the dance

yeah true...your points are obviously valid but i don't know...imo i would just rather own what i consider to be great music...rather than going to dances and praying he plays it...and after hearing it probably 4 or 5 times never hearing it again...and the VIP are completely different songs...if we're talking energy wise...they do completely different things to a dance...

There is so much wrong with this sentence for me, there is so much great music out there that does get released infact the majority of music that we hear does eventually get released so what is wrong with these select few tunes that don't get released? personally for me I love missioning to these nights and hearing these special tracks that would never be heard anywhere else, hearing DMZ vs MZN for the first time in the dance was something else and knowing that only 3 people in the world have this track and being one of a significantly small majority of people in the world to hear this track on a system Justifies dubplate culture for me.
Some people just want, some people will listen
